My last day at work! WhooHooo! It feels like being in the sixth grade on the last day of school before summer vacation. At that age I may have realized that the summer doesn’t last forever, but it felt that way. Long walks with Jennifer and Sydney, eating healthy food for a change, and cozying up during a rainstorm are what come to mind when I think of how it’ll be to be on the road.
There have been, as we should have expected, a few bumps and delays in getting loose, so it looks like we’ll have the opportunity to buzz around the nest for a couple, or a few weeks before we head off into the wild blue. So for now it’s frenzied final preparations and fond farewells. Our mission is learning to enjoy the ride.
